Position Overview: Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team. This role involves circulating in highly specialized cardiovascular procedures while ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in cardiovascular procedures, including CABG, heart valve replacement, robotic MVR, aortic dissection, heart and lung transplants, and lead extractions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, Level I trauma setting.
• Provide patient care in compliance with hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
• Demonstrate strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience (required).
• Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (required).
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) (preferred).
• Special Requirements: Must have circulating experience.
  

Additional Details

• On-Call Requirements: 2 (12-hour) on-call shifts within a 6-week period based on departmental needs.
• Level I Trauma: Experience in a trauma center is highly preferred.
• License: Pending licenses are not accepted; active license required.
• RTO Restrictions: All requests must be submitted before the offer is made.
• Block Scheduling: Not accommodated.
